Is SIMnet a McGraw Hill? ›

McGraw Hill's SIMnet is an easy-to-use online training tool for Microsoft Office. Find out more about what it's like to use from a student's perspective.

A SIMnet license does not expire – so the student may come back into SIMnet both in and beyond the course for continual learning.

Using McGraw Hill Connect®? Try Tegrity®! Tegrity is a feature within the Connect platform that allows instructors and students to record and/or upload videos. Many instructors use them to upload lecture videos or screen capture videos.

The SIMnet tool can detect whenever a grader project contains content from another student and will flag this as a potential integrity violation.

You can require that all work be submitted on the due date, in which case Connect will automatically submit the student's work even if he/she has not completed the assignment. Or, you can allow for a late submission with penalties.

You can allow students to continue work past the Due Date up until a Late Submission Date of their choosing—and still get full credit for their work. Students will only see the Due Date in their view of the assignment but Connect will continue accepting scores up until the Late Submission Date.

Once you have created an account, you may gain access to your SIMnet textbooks by paying for access directly only, activating a registration code, or using Courtesy Access. Your school may elect to make offers available for you to purchase your course materials directly online with your credit card.

Using SIMnet on a Mac

Macs can seamlessly complete the vast majority of SIMnet coursework. There are a few areas where using a Mac can cause issues: When using the Function Keys F1-F12, Mac keyboards require holding the Fn key before pressing the desired function key.
